Romans Road to Salvation

Many people try to make the concept of salvation complex. In reality the process is very simple, we can find a map for the process of salvation within a few verses in Romans. Remember, although the process of becoming saved is simple, the process of living the Christian life still requires commitment and effort on your part, but your fellow Christians can, and should help you with that!

Admit that you are a sinner:

Romans 3:10:

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.

Romans 3:23:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

Romans 5:12:
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned

Since you are a sinner you must admit that you are condemned to death:

Romans 6:23:

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Admit that Jesus Christ died for your sins:

Romans 5:8:

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Confess your sins, ask Jesus to forgive you and believe in your heart:

Romans 10:9-13:

9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.

10 - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 - For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 - For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

That these things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
